BCBA Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and mentorship to a team of behavior technicians, including conducting regular performance evaluations and providing ongoing feedback and training.
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for clients with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyses to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors and develop effective behavior intervention plans.
- Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed, ensuring that goals are being met and progress is being documented accurately.
- Provide parent/caregiver training and support to facilitate the generalization of skills learned in therapy sessions to the natural environment.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant professional and ethical standards, including adherence to HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA in a clinical setting, with demonstrated expertise in conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and supervising behavior technicians.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and mentoring staff.
- Knowledge of current research and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities preferred.

- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a home-based setting and community-based (paid training provided).
- Teach clients with autism communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting.
- Collect data to monitor the progress of the children we support.
- Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by the clinical team.
- Maintain appropriate social distancing, safety, and enhanced protective hygiene practices both on and off the job. (We provide PPE, caregiver communication tools and practices, and limit exposure through small workgroups.)
- Communicate clearly and effectively – both orally and written – with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Must be over the age of 18 with a high school diploma. (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Have prior experience in ABA and/or working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disorders/delays. (Preferable but not necessary)
- Sensitive to work with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population of children.
- Have the ability to remain calm and neutral in challenging situations with clients.
- CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain one (company will pay)
- Have reliable means of transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance.
- Have the ability to stand and stay on their feet for prolonged periods of time and bend, kneel, crouch, and lift weights of up to 50 pounds.
- Have successful background clearance, driving record checks, and reference checks.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent; however, some college experience or a college degree is preferred.
- Creative, energetic, flexible, and driven leader to make impactful changes in the lives of our clients.
